Geekbench data show that AMD Threadripper PRO 7995WX consists of 96 cores and 192 threads with a frequency of 5.14 GHz. This series of processors supports DDR5 memory, and the machine in the figure above uses 512GB memory.

In terms of running points, the processor scored 2095 for single core and 81408 for multi-core in Geekbench 5.5. For comparison, the score of the old AMD AMD Threadripper PRO 5995WX (64 cores) can reach 1600 + / 54000 +.

This series of processors will be divided into workstations and HEDT platforms, based on AMD Zen4 CPU architecture. The Threadripper PRO 7000 series handles up to 96 cores, supports 8 channels of memory, has 128 PCIe 5.0channels, and does not support overclocking. Threadripper 7000 supports 4 channels of memory, 64 channels of PCIe 5.0, and supports overclocking.

AMD has not yet announced the release date of Threadripper 7000, and there are reports that it will be released in September this year.
