CTOnews.com, August 17 (Xinhua) Microsoft recently issued a press release announcing that it will work with the PWABuilder team to waive the registration fee of $19 until September 15 to encourage developers to publish PWA applications on Microsoft Store.

Developers who want to distribute applications on Microsoft Store need to spend $19 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about RMB139) to sign up for a developer account.

Microsoft said that from today to September 15, qualified developers can get a free developer account and publish PWA applications free of charge on Microsoft Store.

CTOnews.com according to the Microsoft blog, the requirements of qualified developers are attached here are as follows:

Requires at least one installable PWA application that contains all the required list fields and implements at least two desktop enhancements

Need to live in the countries and regions listed by Partner Center.

Has a valid Microsoft account that can be used to register a Microsoft Store on Windows developer account.

There is currently no Microsoft Store account

Within 30 calendar days after Microsoft sends you a token, use the App Store token to create an Microsoft Store on Windows developer account and use the same Microsoft account you used when you logged in here.

It is planned to release the application in the store this calendar year (before midnight PST, December 31, 2023).
