CTOnews.com August 17, Microsoft today released a new preview of Windows Server Build 25931 for Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC) channel users.

Users who need it can go to the Windows Server Insider website and download ISO or VHDX image to install it. As in the past, the new preview integrates the Win11 desktop experience and is available in data Center, Standard, and Azure versions (virtual machine installations only).

After Azure Arc-enabled Servers onboarding experience users upgrade to this preview, find the new Azure Arc icon in the system tray (lower right corner of the taskbar).

After enabling Azure Arc on the server, look for status information in the system tray icon.

If you have enabled the secure startup / DRTM code path, we do not recommend that you install this version.

The brand of Server has not been updated and is still Windows Server 2022 in the preview version. In addition, Microsoft calls these versions Windows Server vNext, not Windows Server 2022, which is already on the market.
