CTOnews.com August 16, Apple today released watchOS 9.6.1 for Apple Watch users, but did not release the accompanying iOS 16.6.1 update.

According to 9to5Mac, Apple will skip iOS 16.6.1 and jump directly to iOS 16.7. At the same time, Apple has begun to expand the testing range of the iOS 17. 1.

CTOnews.com query history found that when Apple releases updates to one platform, it usually updates synchronously for other platforms, especially when watchOS is always in sync with iOS.
