Intel XeSS 1.2 is backward compatible with XeSS 1.0 and 1.1. In addition, the official change log indicates that the new version already supports dynamic resolution scaling and fixes a variety of Bug to improve performance and stability.

No games support XeSS version 1.2.0.13 yet, but Ricky and Tinker Bell: time Jump has been added to version 1.2.0.10.

According to reports, XeSS 1.1 is a major upgrade for Intel, bringing faster XMX and DP4a kernels as well as a new upgrade model.
