CTOnews.com August 16 news, gigabyte announced today that it will launch the Z790 X small carved WIFI7 motherboard at 08:30 tonight, which means that the motherboard equipped with Wi-Fi 7 network card will soon be on the market.

According to IT House, at this year's Taipei computer Show, MSI, ASRock and other manufacturers showed the latest Z790 high-end motherboard, which supports Wi-Fi 7 wireless network and is equipped with 5GbE LAN wired network port.

MSI Z790 MAX series motherboard will adopt Wi-Fi 7 scheme, the overall design has been upgraded, and a number of motherboards will upgrade the network scheme to 5GbE LAN. ASRock will launch a new PHANTOM GAMING series motherboard, including the high-end model Z790 Nova WiFi 7 with the latest WiFi 7 and 5 Gbps LAN ports.

Although the Wi-Fi 7 motherboard is ready to be put on the market, there is no Wi-Fi 7 router available in China. TP-LINK released its Wi-Fi 7 router product in March and announced that it would be available in the second quarter, but it hasn't launched yet.

According to previous reports from CTOnews.com, the official website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially released a notice on June 1 to solicit the opinions of the State Radio Office on the approval of technical requirements and testing methods for new models of wireless LAN equipment using IEEE 802.11be technology standards. The relevant Wi-Fi 7 standards are expected to be launched soon, when a large wave of Wi-Fi 7 products will be put on the market.
