CTOnews.com, August 16 (Xinhua)-- Apple is working on new technologies and methods to completely eliminate the 14-inch MacBook Pro and 16-inch MacBook Pro screen frames.

After years of dissatisfaction with the thick frame of the MacBook Pro screen, Apple reduced the frame on the 14-inch MacBook Pro and 16-inch MacBook Pro, but added bangs.

CTOnews.com noted that recently, a new patent granted by Apple called "Zero frame display with mixed structure" was exposed, and the key part of the patent made it clear that the aim was to create a display that would not be limited by the reason that we now have a frame.

This is not the first time Apple has explored ways to reduce the frame. There have been similar patents before, and Apple began to study how to reuse the frame to do more things as early as 2013.
