According to previous reports, TSMC's factory in Germany will be supported by Germany and the European Union. Germany is expected to provide 5 billion euros of funds and TSMC will invest 3.5 billion euros. Bosch, Infineon and NXP Semiconductors, the three 10 per cent joint venture partners, would have a capital of € 10 billion if they each invested € 500 million in proportion.
