CTOnews.com August 15 news, Tiger teeth Company (NYSE:HUYA) announced the second quarter of 2023 results, total revenue of 1.82 billion yuan, the same period last year for 2.2752 billion yuan; under non-American general accounting standards, the quarter belongs to Tiger teeth company net profit of 120 million yuan, the same period last year for 5.9 million yuan; according to American general accounting standards, net profit of 23.2 million yuan, net loss of 19.4 million yuan for the same period last year.

Of this total, Huya TV's income was 1.7157 billion yuan, compared with 2.0519 billion yuan in the same period last year, mainly due to a decrease in the number of quarterly paying users; advertising and other income was 105.8 million yuan, compared with 223.3 million yuan in the same period last year, mainly due to a sharp drop in revenue from content licensing; research and development expenses were 144.3 million yuan, down 14.3% from the same period last year; and sales and marketing expenses were 1.064 billion yuan, an increase of 6.1% over the same period last year.

As of June 30, 2023, Huya's cash and cash equivalents, short-term and long-term deposits were 10.8464 billion yuan, compared with 10.3476 billion yuan as of March 31, 2023.

In terms of user data, Huya TV's mobile MAU (average monthly active users) reached 82.9 million.
