Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

CTOnews.com, August 15-Ford Motor Company announced in May that it will launch a Mustang Mach-E with a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery version with 72 kWh batteries, a rear-drive RWD version with a range of 250km (CTOnews.com Note: about 402.34 km) and an all-wheel drive AWD version with a range of 226mph (about 363.71 km).

CTOnews.com Note: Ford's ER battery version of the Mustang Mach-E uses a 91 kWh nickel-cobalt-manganese (NCM) battery, and Ford says the use of a lower-cost lithium iron phosphate battery will allow Ford to increase production of the Mustang Mach-E and Fmur150 Lightning faster.

The rear-drive version of the Mustang Mach-E, which uses lithium iron phosphate batteries, recently appeared at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). As Ford Motor Co. promised, the EPA has a comprehensive range of 250miles, three miles more than the standard NCM power battery.

Mach-E SR LFP RWD 18 inches: 250 miles (402km)

Mach-E SR NCM RWD 18 inches: 247 miles (397km)

Interestingly, the LFP-driven Mach-E seems to be slightly less efficient than the NCM-driven version (2% lower):

Mach-E SR LFP RWD 18 inch: 101MPGe:334 Wh / mi (207Wh / km)

Mach-E SR NCM RWD 18 inch: 103 MPGe:327 Wh / mi (203 Wh / km)
