According to CTOnews.com news on August 15, Gibbit released its financial results for the first half of 2022, with operating income of 2.349 billion yuan, down 6.44% from the same period last year; overseas income totaled 119 million yuan, up 5.99% over the same period last year; net profit belonging to shareholders of listed companies was 676 million yuan, down 1.80% from the same period last year; profit distribution is expected to be 504 million yuan, accounting for 74.60% of net profit.

CTOnews.com noted that in the first half of the year, revenue from PC games decreased slightly compared with the same period last year, while revenue from mobile games decreased year-on-year, and revenue from Yinianxiaoyao (mainland version) decreased year-on-year. Obi Island: dream Nation was launched in July 2022, contributing incremental revenue from the same period last year.

As of June 30, 2023, Gibbit's unamortized recharge and props balance totaled 479 million yuan, a decrease of 76.5208 million yuan compared with 556 million yuan at the end of last year, mainly due to the expiration of cooperation with Moore Manor on May 26, 2023. In this period, the deferred balance of income that is no longer obligated to perform is recognized as operating income.
