CTOnews.com, August 15, according to game media GRY Online, Polish game publisher Plaion (former Koch Media) clarified that the game "Stalker 2: heart of Chernobyl" will not be released on December 1.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Plaion had updated the release date of Stalker 2: hearts of Chernobyl, which was released on December 1, 2023.

In a statement provided to GRY-Online, Plaion said the "leak" was caused by human factors and mistakenly marked the December 1 release.

Due to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, game developer GSC Game World encountered many problems in the development of Stalker: heart of Chernobyl, and the data of the game development version was leaked in May.

According to game media Inside Gaming, the game Stalker 2: heart of Chernobyl will be unveiled at the Cologne game show to show players the latest development status.

Stalker 2: heart of Chernobyl will be released on Xbox and PC platforms. Game developer GSC Game World, which has not announced a specific release date, announced in February that it would increase the price of the Ultimate Edition by $40 in order to maintain the collection quality of the game at an ideal level during these turbulent times.
