This suggests that the selected engineers will help design, build, test and troubleshoot early prototype health hardware, and the Apple team may be advancing biomechanical research and development on Apple Watch.

At present, Apple Watch mainly tracks calorie, time and heart rate data in aerobic exercise such as running and cycling, but in strength training scenarios, due to the disproportion of heart rate and load, it is unable to provide accurate insight, and the introduction of strain gauges can improve activity tracking in strength training scenarios.
