Microsoft now confirms that there is a major error in this version that affects the video codec, and that Windows 11 is also affected. In addition, there is a Bug in this version that causes ClickOnce applications to fail to work properly.

These applications can be installed and run through minimal user interaction, mainly solving the problem that all clients have to be reinstalled after the C / S software version is updated.

It is reported that after installing KB5028244 (19045.3271), you may be prompted to install when you open an application based on ClickOnce deployment, even if the ClickOnce application has been successfully installed and marked as "trusted".

Microsoft said that to fix the problem temporarily, uninstall the affected ClickOnce application and reinstall it again.

In addition, this issue can be resolved by using known problem rollback (KIR), but it may take 24 hours to apply to consumer and unmanaged corporate devices.

Microsoft also mentioned that enterprise management devices that have installed affected updates and have encountered this problem can be resolved by installing and configuring special group policies.
