In July 2019, he served as vice president of the Academy of military Sciences and in August 2023, served as president of Fuzhou Fuyao Advanced Research Institute / Fuyao University of Science and Technology (chip).

Aiming at the two core problems of software dynamic adaptation and online evolution in the open network environment, he puts forward the component-based architecture of middleware based on microkernel and the online assembly mechanism of components based on container. a component-based software middleware technology architecture and framework are established. A component-based software development method ABC based on software architecture (SA) is proposed, which extends SA to the whole software life cycle, and realizes the effective control of system-level structure complexity and consistency.
