The data shows that the market share distribution of OLED screens for vehicles in 2022 is as follows:

It can be seen from the data that Samsung and LG still occupy the "dominant position" in the automotive OLED screen market, but BOE from China has gradually made efforts and begun to emerge in the market.

Omdia's report said that automotive OLED screens were initially mass-produced by LG in 2019, and LG's market share soared to 91.3% two years later, while Samsung's market share was 8.7%.

▲ Subsequently, Samsung won orders from Hyundai, Audi, Ferrari, BMW and other automobile enterprises for the sixth time. By 2022, Samsung's OLED screen market share has increased significantly to 42.7%.

Omdia also raised its forecast for OLED screen shipments for vehicles this year. After raising it from 890,000 units to 1.14 million units, Omdia raised its shipment forecast to 1.48 million units again. It is estimated that shipments will increase by 45% annually in the next five years, exceeding 5 million units in 2026 and 9 million units in 2027.
