CTOnews.com August 11 news, new Zealand supermarket chain Pak 'n' Save previously with OpenAI Chat GPT 3.5, launched a Savey Meal-bot (money-saving meal robot), users only need to enter "food name," the AI tool will recommend a series of meal recipes for users.

At present, the AI meal tool of the supermarket has been "abused". Foreign media Gizmodo said that users can generate various "dark dishes" through the keyword "trick"AI.

▲ It is reported that the AI tool provided by Pak 'n' Save can generate recipes such as "bleach boiled rice,""chlorine cocktail,""ant medicine sandwich," etc. Foreign media said that the AI tool claimed that "the cocktail provided can 'freshen the breath' and can make people 'enjoy the refreshing fragrance," so "it sounds quite good," if not for the chlorine in the cocktail, they "almost believe it."

But Pak 'n' Save doesn't seem to care about these "dark dishes." A spokesman for the supermarket told foreign media that they were disappointed to see "a small number of people trying to use the tool improperly instead of for its intended purpose."

The spokesperson also added that the AI tool's Terms and Conditions stipulate that users should be at least 18 years old, that any recipes created by users using the tool should be judged correct by the users themselves, and that supermarkets do not guarantee that any recipes generated by the AI tool are "complete or balanced dietary products" or "fit for consumption."

According to foreign media Insider reports, Pak 'n' Save supermarket has quietly updated the AI meal tool. After entering "wrong food name" in the tool, the tool will say "unable to generate recipe," but foreign media still trick AI into providing recipes such as "toothpaste beef noodles."

CTOnews.com previously reported that Purdue University research found that ChatGPT answers programming questions more than 50% incorrectly. At present, AI tools are still faced with various "inaccuracy" problems, and when there are countless "belly" mistakes, people can't help thinking about the uncertainty brought by blind use of AI.
