CTOnews.com August 11 news, Honor officially announced that Glory mobile earthquake early warning function has been enabled nationwide, can be in advance before the arrival of shear waves, a few seconds to dozens of seconds of early warning, and according to the intensity, through the notice bar or full-screen strong prompt pop-up window for early warning.

CTOnews.com learned from the official Honor that when the estimated intensity of an earthquake is less than 2.0C, it will only be prompted by a pop-up card in the notification bar, and when the estimated intensity is higher than 2.0C, it will be prompted through full-screen pop-up windows of different colors: red represents the strongest early warning magnitude, yellow represents the weakest magnitude, and the moderate magnitude is orange, and the card color can help users quickly judge the magnitude.

When the earthquake shear wave arrives, the pop-up window interface will display emergency shelters, emergency contacts and quick entrances to personal emergency information.

Open the tutorial: enter Settings > Safety > Emergency warning notice, turn on the earthquake early warning switch, listen to the alarm tone, after the audition, click agree and open, and follow the prompts to set the relevant permissions.

Note: this service needs to be connected to the Internet and enable location services to obtain equipment and location information for pushing earthquake early warning messages; at present, earthquake early warning has been supported nationwide (except Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan).
