According to CTOnews.com news on August 11, QQ Security Center issued an announcement on ecological governance on QQ platform in the second quarter of 2023, dealing with a total of 4.6 million illegal accounts, focusing on cracking down on pornographic, vulgar and violent illegal content, and blocking related group chats and accounts according to platform norms.

The QQ security team found that lawbreakers spread pornographic, vulgar and illegal content on the platform to induce other users to click, so as to divert or attempt to commit fraud for the underground industry. The platform has disposed of 640000 related group chats and accounts in the second quarter of this year.

The production, release and dissemination of violent and bloody content is also a violation of QQ platform norms. In addition, some users also sell such illegal content for profit, induce others to forward it, and incite other users to shoot similar content to continue to spread.

According to the results of QQ's multi-directional investigation in each scene, a total of 188 illegal group chats and 308 related accounts were disposed of in the second quarter.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, QQ Security Center once wrote that some users tried to win traffic and attract attention by producing and spreading bad content (such as inducing bad behavior, advocating abnormal aesthetics, deliberately intensifying opposites and contradictions, etc.), resulting in negative effects.

Some of the contents related to minors have negative guidance to the relevant groups, which is harmful to the physical and mental health of the underage groups.

The QQ platform resolutely cracked down on the above illegal content and related illegal users, and banned the relevant illegal accounts.
