PC CPU shipments reached 53.6 million units in the second quarter of 2023, up 17% month-on-month and down 23% year-on-year, according to JPR data. Nuclear display shipments reached 49 million units, up 14% month-on-month and down 29% year-on-year.

Desktop CPU shipments fell 25% year-on-year; notebook CPU shipments fell 22% year-on-year.

By brand, AMD's CPU share fell 5.3% compared to the previous quarter, while Intel's market share grew 23%.
