Brilliance BMW Co., Ltd. produced a total of 7 domestic iX3 electric vehicles from August 29, 2022 to November 23, 2022.

BMW (China) Automobile Trading Co., Ltd. partially imported i4 electric vehicles from June 21, 2022 to August 1, 2022, with a total of 13 units.

A total of 8 iX electric vehicles were imported from June 28, 2022 to September 1, 2022.

One imported i7 electric vehicle with production date of September 1, 2022.

In terms of the reasons for the recall, this batch of models due to the supplier production process errors, resulting in damage to the combined charging unit abnormal work, may cause charging interruption, resulting in the vehicle can not start or driving high-voltage system shut down, there are safety risks.

Brilliance BMW and BMW (China) will replace the combined charging units for the vehicles within the recall range free of charge and notify the relevant users in the form of registered letters, interconnected driving messages and so on.
