There are hidden dangers. Ford will replace the rearview camera free of charge for vehicles covered by the recall.

Due to design reasons for some vehicles within the scope of this recall, the printed circuit board of the battery monitoring sensor may be short-circuited due to improper operation in the process of after-sale maintenance, resulting in overheating of the surrounding materials and, in extreme cases, a fire in the engine compartment. There are safety risks.

Ford will entrust Lincoln brand authorized dealers to install battery monitoring sensor circuit overload protection fuses free of charge for vehicles covered by the recall.
