SK Hynix announced today that its latest LPDDR5T mobile DRAM has been successfully verified on MediaTek's next-generation flagship mobile platform.

In the announcement, SK Hynix said that MediaTek's next generation of flagship mobile chipsets will be released this year, and the LPDDR5T memory speed is up to 9.6Gbps, 13% faster than the previous generation of Hynix LPDDR5X. It is reported that Hynix has provided relevant samples to MediaTek for testing as early as February this year, which is based on MediaTek's next-generation flagship mobile platform.

The next generation of MediaTek's flagship mobile chip mentioned here is likely to refer to the Tianji 9300 mobile platform.

This means that the new MediaTek Tian Ji 9300 flagship mobile platform will support LPDDR5T memory with transmission rates up to 9.6Gbps, which is also in line with MediaTek's consistent style. After all, each generation of flagship mobile chips support the latest and most advanced memory specifications. For example, when Tian Ji 9200 was released, it was the first mobile phone SoC to support LPDDR5X 8533Mbps, while Tian Ji 9000 was the first 7500Mbps LPDDR5X memory, which was also the leading one at that time.

In addition, according to the information available so far, Tianji 9300 will adopt a new CPU architecture, including a full-large core CPU architecture with four Cortex-X4 super-large cores and four Cortex-A720 performance cores, as well as the Immortalis G720 GPU.
