CTOnews.com, August 10 (Xinhua)-- Nintendo announced last year that in order to expand its scale and strengthen its game research and development capabilities, Nintendo decided to build a new 12-story office building with an area of 38,000 square meters next to the original development building. (CTOnews.com Note: this building is commonly known as "Hall 2 of our Development Center").

According to the Nippon Keizai Shimbun, Nintendo said yesterday that "in order to ensure a 'long-term increase in the number of developers' and expand the size of game development teams, the height of the new building will be revised to more than 13 floors". Nintendo also expects the completion of the new development building to be extended from 2027 to 2028.
