CTOnews.com, August 10, according to CCTV News this morning, the first batch of seven intelligent Internet connected cars were tested in the western (Chongqing) Science City of Chongqing High-tech Zone, including intelligent Internet connected unmanned minibuses, self-driving commuter cars, low-speed unmanned selling vehicles / distribution vehicles / security patrol cars and other multi-purpose vehicles, which are expected to be put into operation by the end of August.

Reported that these vehicles are all connected to the cloud control platform, can collect data in real time through millimeter wave radar, cameras and other facilities on both sides of the road, and then send back to the cloud for computing, and then send safe and efficient driving advice to commuter cars, which can "avoid security risks caused by human factors or emergencies."

At present, the Western Science City has gathered more than 40 enterprises related to the intelligent network automobile and new energy automobile industry, and the ecological circle of the whole industry chain has been initially built. It is said that Chongqing High-tech Zone is building an "Intelligent Network United Automobile demonstration Zone", building a complete vehicle-road-cloud integrated infrastructure, and expanding rich application scenarios. The construction of the first phase of the demonstration zone will be completed by the end of August, when about 50 kilometers of roads will be equipped with roadside equipment.

CTOnews.com previously reported that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the State Standardization Administration Commission jointly revised and issued the National vehicle networking Industry Standard system Construction Guide (Intelligent Networked Automobile) (2023 edition) last month. The Guide mainly aims at the general specifications, core technologies and key product applications of intelligent network connected vehicles, and constructs the intelligent network connected automobile standard system, including intelligent network connected automobile foundation, technology, products, test standards, etc., and give full play to the basic support and leading role of standards to the key technologies, core products and functional applications of intelligent network connected automobile industry. Together with other parts of the National vehicle networking Industry Standard system Construction Guide, we will form a unified and coordinated national vehicle networking industry standard system framework.
