According to X (Twitter) user URedditor, the A17 bionic chip will be equipped with 6-core CPU and 6-core GPU. Current A16 bionic chips are equipped with 6-core CPU and 5-core GPU, so this means that iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will have an additional GPU core. In addition, the CPU of the A17 bionic chip will have a clock speed of up to 3.70 GHz, which is higher than the 3.46GHz of the A16 bionic chip.

Today's rumors also say that the iPhone 15 Pro will be equipped with the same 6GB RAM as the iPhone 14 Pro. However, CTOnews.com notes that this contradicts earlier rumors that the iPhone 15 Pro will be upgraded to 8GB memory. URedditor said they had "only seen 6GB so far", noting that 8GB seemed "unlikely, but not impossible".

A17 bionic chips will only be used in iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max,iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will use last year's A16 chip, which is currently used in iPhone 14 Pro.
