It is expected that the Guinan high-speed railway will be opened to traffic this year, and the railway travel time between Guiyang and Nanning will be shortened from 5 hours to 2 hours.

It should be noted that the Guinan high-speed railway is an important part of the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network Baotou (Yinchuan) to Haikou, with a total length of 482 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour.

In addition, the Chengdu-Yibin high-speed railway has completed the laying of tracks, and the Guangzhou-Shantou high-speed railway and the Shanghai-Nanjing high-speed railway along the Yangtze River have also launched joint tests.

In the high-speed rail network, the construction of high-speed rail trunk roads at no less than 250 kilometers per hour (densely populated / economically developed / running through big cities can reach 350 kilometers), regional railways no more than 250 kilometers, and inter-city railways no more than 200 kilometers.
