CTOnews.com, August 10 (Xinhua)-- Apple's Beats Studio Pro wireless headset went on sale today at 2899 yuan after its debut in the United States, Canada, France and Germany on July 19.

Beats Studio Pro is the fourth generation of Studio series headphones, the appearance of this headset is basically the same as the previous generation of Studio 3s, but has a significant improvement in sound quality, noise reduction, comfort and so on. The new headset is also Apple's first headset to support lossless USB-C audio playback and takes into account the software experience of iPhone and Android users.

Beats has carried out a comprehensive transformation of the acoustic structure of the Studio Pro, using a new 40mm drive unit, which can effectively improve the clarity and achieve ultra-low distortion even at high volume. Compared with Beats Studio3, the performance is improved by up to 80%, which can provide higher audio fidelity. The integrated digital processor optimizes the final frequency response, achieving a strong and balanced sound effect, showing subtle details when playing all kinds of content.

Beats Studio Pro's active noise reduction system has also been upgraded with a better microphone array and a transparent mode. The outer ear pads have also been redesigned with memory sponges and seamless leather.

Beats Studio Pro supports cable playback and can be connected through the included 3.5mm headphone cable. The new headset is also Apple's first headset that supports lossless audio playback over a USB-C connection. When listening to music over a wired USB-C connection, Beats provides sound profiles for different purposes, such as music, movies, and voice calls / podcasts. The battery life of the new headset can be up to 40 hours (when active noise reduction is turned off).

Beats Studio Pro is also trying to find a balance between the two ecosystems, iOS and Android. It supports native features on both operating systems, including one-click pairing, synchronizing between logged-in devices, and finding lost headphones. Although the headset uses its own proprietary chip rather than Apple's chip, the Studio Pro also supports dynamic head tracking and personalized spatial audio, both of which were previously unique to the AirPods series.
