CTOnews.com August 9, Sony Group today released consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2023. Sales were 2.9637 trillion yen (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 149.667 billion yuan), up 33% from a year earlier; net profit attributable to shareholders was 217.5 billion yen (currently about 10.984 billion yuan), down 17% from a year earlier.

Sony expects full-year music revenue of 280 billion yen (currently about 14.14 billion yuan) and the market is expected to be 265 billion yen. The full-year operating income of the games and online services business is still expected to be 270 billion yen (currently about 13.635 billion yuan), while the market is forecast to be 281.6 billion yen. The annual operating profit of electronic products is still forecast to be 180 billion yen (currently about 9.09 billion yuan).
