According to CTOnews.com on August 9, Tesla showed off a mobile super charging pile (Megacharger) in Las Vegas to provide power for his Semi semitrailer truck.

This charging pile can charge a Semi semitrailer truck at 750kW, which is much more powerful than an ordinary super charging pile. Tesla's V3 charging pile in the United States currently supports up to 250kW. The charging post appeared in Las Vegas for only a few hours before it was dismantled and removed. It is reported that this is a kind of mobile super charging pile that Tesla is testing and can be installed and used at different locations at any time.

At present, Tesla already has some partners, such as Pepsi and small biscuits, using Tesla's semitrailer truck and fixed super charging piles in some parts of the western United States. These partners say the use of Tesla's semitrailer trucks and super charging piles can reduce operating costs and carbon emissions.

Tesla is seeking nearly $100 million from the U.S. government to build a super-charging pile corridor from California to Texas, which will help Tesla expand his market and service range for semitrailers, Bloomberg reported.
