CTOnews.com August 9 news, YouTube channel RedGamingTech in the latest video, revealed the upcoming AMD, Zen 5-based Ryzen 8000 processor performance score.

CTOnews.com Note: RedGamingTech said in the video that the Zen 5 architecture CPU will be compatible with AM5 slots, support faster memory, and retain up to 16-core designs.

The multicore improvement report says the 16-core Ryzen 9 8950X scored 49,000 on the Cinebench R23 multicore test, while Intel's i9-13900K scored about 40,000, giving the AMD model a lead of about 25 per cent.

The 12-core Ryzen 9 8900X is comparable to 13900K, which has twice as many cores. Similar improvements have been made in 8-core Ryzen 7 8700 X and 6-core Ryzen 5 8600 X:

Ryzen 9 7950X-> 8950X | the speed of MT increases by 25-30%

Ryzen 9 7900X-> 8900X | MT speed up by 24-25%

Ryzen 7 7700X-> 8700X | MT speed up by 15-20%

Ryzen 7 7600X-> 8600X | MT speed increases by 30%

In terms of single core, the performance of AMD Zen 5 is much better than that of Zen4, most of which score more than 2500 points. With DDR5-6400 memory, its single-core score is expected to be 13-15% faster than Intel Core i9-13900K.

If compared with Zen 4, the improvement should be higher, 25-35%. Whistleblowers point to expected IPC growth of 20-25 per cent from Zen 4 to Zen 5.

Release date AMD plans to release the Zen 5 chip in early or mid-2024, which is compatible with the current AM5 motherboard, and users only need to update BIOS to get support.
