Starting today, Nvidia will provide new RTX Ada workstation solutions from partners such as BOXX, Dell, Hewlett-Packard and Lenovo. These systems can be equipped with up to RTX 6000 GPU, the flagship product released last year, but in addition, Nvidia will launch three new GPU--RTX 5000, RTX 4500 and RTX 4000 models with the same Ada architecture at a more affordable price.

NVIDIA RTX 6000 is the flagship Ada graphics card released last year, with 18176 CUDA cores, 48 GB GDDR6X video memory, and 2.50 GHz acceleration frequency. It can provide single-precision floating-point operation performance of 91.1 TFLOPs and tensor operation performance of 1458 TFLOPs. In addition, Nvidia has introduced three new Ada graphics cards, namely RTX 5000, RTX 4500 and RTX 4000. These graphics cards are manufactured by TSMC 4N process and have the following characteristics:

NVIDIA CUDA kernel: compared with the previous generation, the single-precision floating-point throughput is up to 2x.

Third-generation RT core: RayTracing throughput is two times higher than the previous generation, and can be raytraced, shaded or denoised at the same time.

The fourth generation tensor core: compared with the previous generation, the training performance of AI is improved by two times, and the FP8 data format is supported.

DLSS 3: use the power of AI to bring more realism and interaction to real-time graphics.

Larger video memory capacity: RTX 4000 provides 20 GB GDDR6 video memory; RTX 4500 provides 24 GB GDDR6 video memory; RTX 5000 provides 32 GB GDDR6 video memory. These video memories support error correction code technology to ensure error-free processing of large 3D models, rendered images, simulations, and AI data sets.

Extended reality capabilities: support for high-resolution augmented reality and virtual reality devices to provide high-performance graphics for creating stunning AR, VR and hybrid reality content.

In terms of performance, RTX 5000 Ada is 3 times higher than RTX A5500, RTX 4500 is 2.7 times higher than RTX A4500, and RTX 4000 is 1.7 times higher than RTX A4000.

Based on the newly released 4 new GPU, Nvidia has also prepared an one-stop solution-RTX Workstation for enterprise customers. Supports up to 4 RTX 6000 GPU, and can fine-tune the 860 million token GPT3-40B in 15 hours.

In terms of price, the RTX 5000 Ada sells for $4000 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 28760 yuan); RTX 4500 sells for $2250 (currently about 16178 yuan); and RTX 4000 sells for $1250 (currently about 8988 yuan). Currently, the NVIDIA RTX 5000 GPU is already on sale with partners such as Leadtek, PNY and Ryoyo Electro, while the other two GPU models and NVIDIA RTX workstation systems with up to four RTX 6000 GPU will be launched this fall.
