CTOnews.com, August 9, Netflix today released a Netflix game console, App, which allows users to play Netflix games on TV. According to App Store, the game console App can be paired with the TV and use iPhone to play Netflix games.

Currently, Netflix games are limited to iPhone and iPad, and there is no way to play them on Apple TV or other TV platforms. The App doesn't have any features yet, but it says games for TV will be "coming to Netflix soon".

The App provides a direction key and four action keys A, X, Y and B on the iPhone screen.

Netflix has been offering games since 2021 and now has more than 50 games to choose from. These games are included in Netflix's membership with no additional fees or in-house purchases, and some of them include Tomb Raider, Strange things, Bloons TD 6, Sticky World, explosive Cat, Heads Up and cut rope.

CTOnews.com noted that Mike Verdu, vice president of game development at Netflix, said last October that the company was "very seriously exploring cloud game services", which could mean that Netflix was preparing to launch a game service that would make its content playable on TV.
