Group today released the first quarter of fiscal year 2024 (April-June 2023) financial results. In the first quarter, net sales were 1.56 trillion yen (IT House Note: currently about 78.936 billion yuan), down 0.9% from a year earlier.

The net loss attributable to the owner of the parent company was 477.62 billion yen (currently about 24.168 billion yuan), compared with a net loss of 3.2 trillion yen (currently about 161.92 billion yuan) in the same period last year and an estimated gain of 73.02 billion yen (currently about 3.695 billion yuan).

According to the announcement, Softbank Corp. lost 699 billion yen (currently about 35.369 billion yuan) on his investment in that quarter, compared with a loss of 2.8344 trillion yen (currently about 143.421 billion yuan) in the same period last year.
