Below the heat dissipation module is a memory slot, which comes with a DDR5 5600MHz memory (the CPU i7-13620H supports 5200MHz at most, so the hidden star P16 actually runs on 5200MHz), which is faster than the previous version of 4800MHz. The self-contained hard disk is Qicaihong's own CN600 PRO hard disk, which is a PCIe3.0*4 hard disk with TLC particles. So what is the performance release of the heat dissipation system of the hidden star P16? We then use AIDA64 for single-baking FPU,15 minutes, the CPU temperature is stable at 89 ℃, while the CPU power consumption is maintained at about 90W, which is fully 30W better than the version we tested earlier.

Then we use FurMark doughnuts for single-baked GPU, at the beginning, the graphics card can achieve 140W full power consumption, 15 minutes later, the core temperature is stable at 72.4 ℃, the power consumption is stable at 110W, due to the high energy consumption ratio of the new TSMC process, this generation of RTX 4060 does not need to blindly pursue "full power consumption", 110W is enough to feed this core.

Next, we run the above two software at the same time to simulate the maximum pressure and run the double baking for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, CPU stabilized at about 22W, 61 ℃, GPU stabilized at 108W, 73.2 ℃, and the performance release of the whole machine was about 130W. The author thinks that in fact, the performance release of this set of mold is very good, and the temperature control is quite low. However, it is a bit of a pity that the 180W adapter limits further release of performance.

In terms of theoretical performance, the RTX 4060 Laptop GPU above Cryptostar P16 can basically release all the performance, and the GPU theoretical score of 3DMark TimeSpy has reached 10635, which is comparable to that of desktop RTX 3060 Ti.

In R20, which represents the theoretical performance of CPU, i7-13620H scored 709 points for single thread and 6426 points for multi-thread. In R23, it reached 1859 points for single core and 16144 points for multi-core.

For comparison, i7-12650H scored 686 points for single thread and 5820 points for multi-thread. In R23, it reached 1800 points for single core and 15071 points for multi-core. In other words, the single-core performance of i7-13620H has improved slightly by about 3%, and the multi-core performance has improved by about 10%.

TLC solid state drives with seven rainbow hard drives perform well in PCIe 3.0 drives. If you have performance requirements, you can also expand the high-performance hard disk of PCIe 4.0 / 4.

The memory is the upgraded 5600MHz DDR5 notebook memory, which actually runs on 5200MHz, and its performance is 5% and 10% better than the previous 4800MHz version we tested. The running score is also in line with the normal performance of a single DDR5 notebook memory. It is recommended that everyone install a "double channel" in the same group, and your reading and writing scores can be doubled again.

As can be seen from the above tests, the theoretical performance of the Seven Rainbow Hidden Star P16 has been improved by about 5% after upgrading the i7-13620H version and higher frequency memory. It is worth mentioning that the hidden star P16 also supports the single-show direct connection function, and the appearance defaults to the single-show output mode, which can further improve the number of frames in e-sports 's game, so all the following games will be tested in 2.5K resolution + highest picture quality + single-show direct connection mode, and if there is DLSS, drive to the balance gear DLSS. If DLSS3 is available, the number of frames in which DLSS3 is enabled will be tested.

First of all, the e-sports game, we selected "CS:GO", "PUBG", "League of Legends" and "APEX Legend" four mainstream e-sports games for testing. It is measured that running BenchMark can achieve an average of 324 frames in "CS:GO". For comparison, the i7-12650H version we previously tested is an average of 318 frames.

On the side of "PUBG", it is measured that it can run to 109th frames under the highest picture quality, which can satisfy the high-frame play of the highest picture quality. If you want to play with 165Hz frames running full of video games, you can consider adjusting it to the commonly used "three extremes" picture quality.

In League of Legends, the highest quality line alignment can reach an average of about 653 frames, which is really a very high number of frames.

In APEX Legend, the average number of frames reached 148. the average number of frames in the i7-12650H version we tested before was only 108. in this game, the increase in the number of frames is significant.

From our above tests, the vast majority of e-sports games can meet the 2.5K high frame number to play smoothly, and the picture quality is also the highest picture quality, if you want to stabilize high frame play, you have to open to medium picture quality. Next, let's test some mainstream 3A games. In Tomb Raider: shadow, under the highest 2.5K special effects, the number of frames is as high as 100 frames. As a comparison, the i7-12650H version has 85 frames, a significant improvement.

In the classic 3A masterpiece "Wild Dart 2: redemption", the hidden star P16 also showed good results, running to an average of 77 frames at the highest 2.5K picture quality, and the play experience was very smooth.

In the 3A masterpiece Control, which supports ray tracing, even if the highest image quality is turned on, it can reach an average of 66 frames. After upgrading RTX 4060, it can just reach the level of smooth play.
