CTOnews.com August 8, Sony announced the launch of the PS5 cloud gaming service, which now seems to have entered a public beta. Several players said they had received an invitation from Sony to stream PS5 games over the Internet on PS5 with a picture quality of up to 4K.

Sony also said that "we can't wait to share more details, including the launch schedule." However, it seems that Sony may have skipped sharing these details and went straight to public testing.

It is unclear whether Sony will let its upcoming Q handset support the PS5 cloud gaming service, or whether it will be available on other platforms.
