CTOnews.com, August 7, a few months ago, Microsoft updated the SwiftKey keyboard application on iOS and Android, providing a new feature that allows you to rewrite text in a variety of styles using Bing AI, and a similar feature will soon be available in desktop Microsoft Edge browsers.

According to Twitter user @ Leopeva64, a recent Edge Canary update introduced a feature to rewrite text in Bing AI. This feature allows the user to select a piece of text in the input box and rewrite it using the Alt + I shortcut. Edge pops up a window showing the Bing AI rewritten text, and several buttons can be used to replace the selected text, adjust the generated results, or try to regenerate the text.

Like SwiftKey on Android and iOS, this feature allows you to rewrite text in different styles using Bing AI. Users can choose four tones: professional, casual, enthusiastic and informal; change the format: paragraphs, emails, blog posts and ideas; and choose length: short, medium and long. Then click the rewrite button to apply the settings and regenerate the Bing AI response.

Currently, the Bing AI rewrite text feature is being pushed to internal test users of some Canary channels. This is an A / B test, which means that not everyone can use this new feature. Edge Dev has a similar function: right-click on the highlighted text, select the "ask Bing AI" option, will open the Bing sidebar, you can interpret, modify or expand the text.

CTOnews.com notes that Microsoft has also recently begun to push dark mode support for Bing and Bing Chat to desktop users. In addition, Microsoft finally allowed access to Bing Chat from other browsers, such as Google Chrome and Safari.
