The phone is the successor to last year's M4 Pro 5G and is essentially the same as the Redmi Note 12R, which was previously available in China. On the system side, POCO M6 Pro 5G comes pre-installed with Android 13 operating system and supports virtual memory technology, which can increase memory by up to 6GB.

POCO M6 Pro 5G has a built-in 5000 mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. In terms of connectivity, POCO M6 Pro 5G supports WiFi 5, 3.5mm headphone jack, infrared remote control, Bluetooth and 5G network. POCO M6 Pro 5G is available in Forest Green and Power Black.

The POCO M6 Pro 5G starts at Rs 10999 (CTOnews.com Note: currently around RMB954) in India, with a maximum configuration price of Rs 12999 (currently around RMB1127), and will be available on Flipkart on August 9. In contrast, the Redmi Note 12R starts at RMB1099 in China.
