On June 19, Hurun Research Institute released the 2023 Hurun China New Energy Industry agglomeration cities list, which lists the top 50 Chinese cities with the highest concentration of new energy industries.
The list shows that cities in East China account for 50% of the list, with Jiangsu being the province with the highest concentration of new energy, with a total of 10 cities on the list. Cities on the list in South China accounted for 16%, cities in North China accounted for 14%, cities in Central China and Southwest accounted for 6%, and cities in Northwest and Northeast accounted for 4%.
Zhang Yongwei, vice chairman and secretary-general of China Electric vehicle Association, said that China's new energy vehicle industry has entered an era of deep integration of multi-industries, and the new force driving automobile development comes from machinery and power. it also comes from cross-border thinking and cross-border forces, and more investment opportunities also come from cross-border dividends. At present, the automobile industry has entered the stage of accelerating the reshaping of the industrial pattern. This year marks the fifth anniversary of the rise of the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta to the national strategy, and also the third anniversary of the symposium on promoting the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.
Recently, prefectures and cities in the Yangtze River Delta have also begun to roll up. Among the many urban agglomerations, what are the advantages of the Yangtze River Delta? What are the experiences worth using for reference?
1. Car-building craze in the Yangtze River Delta when it comes to China's regional development strategy, there is a concept of "3-3-2-1", that is, to build the three major urban agglomerations of Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, the Yangtze River Delta and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, and speed up the development of the Yangtze River economic belt, ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River basin. we will promote Hainan to deepen reform and opening up in an all-round way.
Among them, at the end of 2018, the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta officially rose to a national strategy. In 2019, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council issued the outline of the Plan for the Development of Regional Integration in the Yangtze River Delta. In the new energy planning of provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Delta, industrial clusters have always been the key layout direction. Changzhou proposed that by 2025, the scale of the new energy vehicle and core parts industry will exceed 700 billion yuan, the photovoltaic industry will exceed 200 billion yuan, and the power equipment industry will exceed 150 billion yuan, forming an industrial cluster with high spatial agglomeration, close coordination between upstream and downstream, and intensive and efficient supply chain.
Zhejiang action plan proposes to create the development pattern of new energy vehicles in the "Yiwan area". In accordance with the overall plan for the construction of "415X" advanced manufacturing clusters, we will promote the construction of "core areas + cooperation areas" with counties (cities and districts) as the main body, and speed up the cultivation of energy-saving and new energy automobile and parts industry clusters. He suggested that around private enterprises with potential in the field of intelligent and new energy vehicles, such as Xiaopeng and Penghui Energy, encourage state-owned enterprises to increase investment and not interfere with their mode of operation, support the expansion of private-funded enterprises and promote the coordinated development of related private-funded enterprises; at the same time, we can introduce well-known automobile enterprises to establish global-oriented new energy automobile enterprises. Rely on GAC GROUP to reorganize the world-famous automobile brands through mergers and acquisitions to open up the global market and enhance the influence of Guangzhou cars.
Generally speaking, the new energy vehicle industry in the Yangtze River Delta has a lot of experience worth using for reference, including the improvement of market rules, the support of technological innovation and the stability of industrial policy.
