Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

CTOnews.com, August 4, Phoronix found that Intel is developing a new driver for its upcoming Xe2 architecture, GPU, which will be used in the future "Battlemage" series and will be available as a solo solution next year.

According to previous revelations, Intel Lunar Lake will start production in the second half of next year. IGPU is based on Battlemage "Xe2" architecture and can achieve up to 64 EU, equivalent to 8 Xe cores, significantly lower than Meteor Lake's 128EU.

It is worth noting that Intel Nucleus is generally one product cycle behind its counterpart. The upcoming Meteor and Arrow Lake CPU will use the Xe-LPG series, or Alchemist architecture, which is comparable to the Arc A380 or A370M.

As a result, Intel will launch Xe2 Battlemage GPU-based game graphics cards next year, and will launch a corresponding integrated solution in 2024-2025.

In addition, Battlemage will migrate to SIMD16 like Ponte Vecchio. CTOnews.com note: since each Xe-Core will contain 8 vector engines (EU) instead of the 16 seen in Alchemist Arc, the number of Xe-Core is still 8.
