CTOnews.com August 3 news, Toyota today announced the first quarter of April June consolidated financial results (international accounting standards), operating profit increased 94% year-on-year to 1.12 trillion yen (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 56.224 billion yuan); operating revenue increased 24% to 10.55 trillion yen (currently about 529.61 billion yuan) Net profit rose 78% to 1.31 trillion yen (currently about 65.762 billion yuan).

It is reported that this is also the first time that Toyota's quarterly net profit has exceeded 1 trillion yen. Toyota left its full-year performance forecast unchanged, with revenue expected to rise 2 per cent year-on-year to 38 trillion yen (currently about 1.91 trillion yuan), operating profit up 10 per cent to 3 trillion yen (currently about 150.6 billion yuan) and net profit up 5 per cent to 2.58 trillion yen (currently about 129.516 billion yuan).

CTOnews.com previously reported that Toyota's sales of hybrid (HV) and premium cars increased in the first quarter, with profits at an all-time high. However, Toyota's sales in China fell for the first time in three months in June, down 12.8 per cent from a year earlier to 174548 vehicles. Sales in China fell 2.8% from January to June.
