Officials say that through close cooperation with Fedora Asahi Special Interest Group (SIG) and Asahi Linux projects, workstations and servers can meet the needs of workstations and servers on Mac devices using Apple Silicon chips.

The Asahi Linux project team also announced that the upcoming flagship release of Asahi Linux will be officially called Fedora Asahi Remix.

Most of the project is driven by the upstream, and the key components are developed, maintained and packaged in the upstream of Fedora Linux.

The team's long-term goal is to fully support Fedora Workstation and Fedora Server on Apple Silicon's Mac devices.
