CTOnews.com August 3 news, according to foreign technology media macworld reported that Apple's Apple Watch Series 9 watch launched this autumn will have a big improvement in performance, presumably a 50% increase in performance and a 30% reduction in power consumption.

Mark Mark Gurman of Bloomberg said in his Power On newsletter that S9 would provide the first "significant speed improvement" since Series 6.

CTOnews.com quoted macworld as saying that Apple's Apple Watch Series 9 will be equipped with a S9 chip, based on Apple's A15 Bionic chipset, and a matching GPU.

Apple has 1GB memory in Apple Watch Series 4 and 1.5GB memory in the Series 6 to Series 8 series. The A15 uses the same LPDDR 4x memory as the A13, and it is impossible to tell whether Apple will add memory.

The biggest change from A13 to A15 is the production process. The A15 is manufactured by N5P, the second generation 5nm process of TSMC.

Based on the performance difference between A13 (7nm) and A15 (5nm), it is speculated that the performance of the S9 chip can be improved by 40-50% and the power consumption can be reduced by 30%.
