According to the photovoltaic industry norms announcement, enterprise information and industry associations, the national output of polysilicon, silicon wafers, batteries and modules reached a new high, with an increase of more than 65% over the same period last year. The total export volume of photovoltaic products reached 28.92 billion US dollars, an increase of 11.6 percent over the same period last year.

In the polysilicon sector, the national output from January to June exceeded 606000 tons, an increase of 66.1 percent over the same period last year.

In the silicon wafer sector, the national output exceeded that of 253.4GW from January to June, an increase of 65.8 per cent over the same period last year.

In the battery sector, the national output of crystalline silicon batteries exceeded that of 224.5GW from January to June, an increase of 65.7% over the same period last year.

In the component sector, the national output of crystalline silicon components exceeded that of 204GW from January to June, an increase of 65% over the same period last year, and exports reached 108GW, an increase of 37.3% over the same period last year.

According to the industry standard announcement, enterprise information and industry association estimates, the national lithium battery output exceeded 400GWh in the first half of the year, an increase of more than 43% over the same period last year, and the industry-wide revenue of lithium battery reached 600 billion yuan in the first half of the year.

In the second-order material link, the output of lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide reached 205000 tons and 140000 tons respectively in the first half of the year, and the average prices of battery-grade lithium carbonate and battery-grade lithium hydroxide (micro-powder) were 332000 yuan / ton and 364000 yuan / ton respectively in the first half of the year.

According to previous reports from CTOnews.com, the development of technological innovation, transformation and upgrading of China's lithium-ion battery industry continued to accelerate in 2022, the supply capacity of advanced products continued to improve, the output of lithium-ion batteries increased by more than 130% compared with the same period last year, and the total output value of the industry exceeded 1.2 trillion yuan.

According to industry norms, enterprise information and research institutions estimate that the national output of lithium-ion batteries will reach 750 gigawatt hours in 2022. Among them, the output of energy storage lithium-ion batteries exceeded 100 gigawatt hours, and the output of first-order lithium materials such as cathode materials, anode materials, diaphragms and electrolytes were about 1.85 million tons, 1.4 million tons, 13 billion square meters and 850000 tons, respectively, an increase of more than 60 percent over the same period last year.

In 2022, the installed capacity of power batteries for new energy vehicles was about 295 gigawatt hours, and the cumulative installed growth rate of energy storage lithium batteries exceeded 130%. The country's total exports of lithium-ion batteries totaled 342.65 billion yuan, an increase of 86.7 percent over the same period last year, making positive contributions to the efficient development and utilization of new energy and the green and low-carbon transformation of the global economy and society.
