Group, plans to launch an initial public offering as soon as September, valuing it at between $60 billion and $70 billion, Bloomberg reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter. (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 430.8 billion to 502.6 billion yuan).

Softbank Corp. has been working on an independent listing of Arm since the failure of the Nvidia acquisition, and the company secretly submitted its application for a US listing to regulators in April, laying the foundation for the world's largest IPO this year.

In June, sources told Reuters that Intel was in talks with Softbank Corp. Group to become a major investor in Arm's initial public offering (IPO).

Arm's design is adopted by most of the world's major semiconductor companies, including Intel, AMD, Nvidia and Qualcomm. It is unclear what impact any IPO investment from one or more of these companies will have on Arm's business.
