The announcement said, "in order to standardize live streaming and chat applications and better protect users' rights and interests, Mi Store is required to meet the following standards for live streaming and chat applications:"

Specific standard

For live broadcast applications, there must not be gambling-related behaviors such as VJ's private cash-back.

For applications with live broadcast module, live rooms must not contain bullfighting, golden flowers, etc., which can bet on gold coins.

Voice chat dating resources, the room name shall not contain recovery, cash back, withdrawal, minors and other sensitive words related to pornography and gambling risks.

If the voice chat dating resources contain both [password room] and [probabilistic play Mini Game], the platform will not be included.

There is an application of probabilistic play Mini Game in the room [game mode: users recharge to participate in the game, and the prizes are obtained by the users participating in the game], which need to meet the following requirements:

(1) significant risk tips are needed in live rooms and chat rooms.

(2) there are clear rules of lucky draw in the live room and chat room.

(3) the maximum amount of a single prize in the game should be less than 50,000.

(4) the function of cashing out prizes shall not be allowed in the application.

Mi Store said that the revision of the standard was issued on August 2, 2023, with a publicity period of seven days, and came into effect on August 9, 2023, with reference to the provisions of the original standard during the publicity period.
