This is another important development of the domestic large aircraft on the Shanghai-Chengdu route after the first commercial flight of passengers to Chengdu by the C919, the world's first domestic aircraft delivered on May 29 this year.

The plane was officially delivered to China Eastern Airlines in Shanghai on July 16 and was transferred from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport.

App shows that on August 2, the serial number of the MU9197 and MU9198 aircraft of China Eastern Airlines has been changed to "B919C." At present, the Shanghai-Chengdu route using C919 aircraft to fly flights, only Chengdu Tianfu to and from Shanghai Hongqiao MU9197, MU9198 two flights. The second C919 plane is scheduled to take off from Shanghai Hongqiao at 08:05 on August 2 and arrive at Tianfu in Chengdu at 11:10. After a 1.5-hour stay, it will take off again at 12:40 from Chengdu Tianfu to Shanghai Hongqiao.
