CTOnews.com August 2 news, BYD yesterday released sales figures for July. BYD sold 262161 new energy vehicles in July, compared with 162530 in the same period last year, an increase of about 61.3% over the same period last year. BYD's sales totaled 1517798 vehicles this year, up 87.63 per cent from a year earlier.

In July this year, the BYD dynasty and ocean series sold 249959 vehicles, an increase of 54.1% over the same period last year; Tengli sold 11146 cars.

In terms of vehicle sales, BYD sold more than 10,000 models in July, including Song Family, Qin Family, Han Family, Yuan Family, Seagull, Dolphin, Tang, Song PLUS Series, Destroyer 05 and Tengli D9. Among them, the Song family topped the list with sales of 51258 vehicles, including 18800 Song PRO and Song MAX of Dynasty net platform and 32458 Song PLUS of Ocean net platform.

CTOnews.com noted that the Qin family was close behind with sales of 44695 vehicles, including Qin EV, Qin Pro EV, Qin Pro DM and other models. The destroyer 05, which is close to Qin's positioning, also performed well, with sales reaching 11994.

The Han family, the flagship BYD sedan, sold 25237 cars in July. The Yuan family, BYD's best-selling mini-SUV,7, sold 31456 cars in monthly sales. Seagulls and dolphins are two compact cars from BYD Ocean net, which sold 28001 and 31950 cars respectively in July. Tang, as a medium-sized and large SUV,7 of BYD, sold 12662 vehicles per month. Frigate 07, a medium-sized SUV,7 launched by BYD on the Ocean net platform, sold 4501 vehicles in monthly sales. The Teng Teng D9, a high-end MPV,7 of BYD, sold 11146 vehicles in monthly sales.
