CTOnews.com August 1 news, Airbus released its consolidated financial results for the first half of the year up to June 30, 2023, with consolidated income of 27.7 billion euros (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 217.999 billion yuan), an increase of 11% over the same period last year; adjusted profit before interest and tax was 2.618 billion euros, compared with 2.645 billion euros in the same period last year; and comprehensive self-financed R & D expenses totaled 1.431 billion euros. Airbus helicopter adjusted profit before interest and tax increased to 274 million euros.

In the first half of this year, Airbus received 1080 orders for civil aircraft (compared with 442 in the same period last year), of which 1044 were net orders (259 in the same period last year).

Tuyuan Airbus official account had a total reserve order of 7967 aircraft at the end of June, with net orders for 131helicopters (163aircraft in the same period last year), covering all aircraft types, including 19 H160 helicopters. Airbus defense and aerospace orders are valued at 6 billion euros (6.5 billion euros for the same period last year), including orders for nine A330 multi-purpose refueling aircraft from Canada (4 newly manufactured and 5 modified).

Airbus said the test flight of the ultra-long-range A321XLR aircraft was progressing steadily and was expected to be operational in the second quarter of 2024, with monthly production of four A330 aircraft by 2024 and nine A350 aircraft per month by the end of 2025.
