According to CTOnews.com news on August 1, iFLYTEK said that Spark will usher in a major version upgrade on August 15, when it will upgrade code capabilities, open multimodal capabilities, knowledge Q & An and other capabilities and applications, and will continue to improve iteratively.

IFLYTEK said that the company started computing infrastructure construction in 2009, has built its own industry-class data center in its headquarters, and has now built a deep learning computing platform in four cities and seven centers. IFLYTEK's computing power not only fully meets the needs of AI algorithm model training, but also provides relevant AI services for millions of developers of open platforms and other industry partners. Since the beginning of this year, we have further increased cooperation investment and achieved important results with leading domestic AI computing vendors, so that self-controllable spark models continue to evolve on independent and controllable computing platforms.

Following the half-year 2023 performance forecast issued by iFLYTEK, the company is expected to achieve an operating income of 7.8 billion yuan and a gross profit of 3.1 billion yuan in the first half of the year. As of June 30, 2023, the number of developers of the iFLYTEK open platform was 4.974 million (compared with 3.43 million in the same period last year), an increase of 45 per cent in the past year. Among them, the number of developers increased by 850000 in two months after the release of iFLYTEK Spark Cognitive Model.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, iFLYTEK ushered in a version 1.5 update on June 9, with new upgrades in open knowledge Q & A, multiple conversations and other aspects. IFLYTEK also launched Spark App, Spark Assistant Center, Spark partner App and so on. It is understood that iFLYTEK will upgrade again on August 15 and October 24, respectively.
